HOOVER

I need to buy ANOTHER new hoover. Can anybody please recommend the best place to go to? I need to be able to try the various hoovers before buying as I need to see how heavy they are to push. Personally I prefer the upright hoover. Comments and advice please. Thank's

No replies back? I take it nobody bothers to hoover their villas then, or do you use a dustpan and brush around your homes?
I thought I would have got quite a good response back. How wrong can you be?
We did go up to the electric shop on the strip (Urb) this morning - near Cam Bank but they did not have any upright hoovers and not a very good selection of the others.
Can anyone suggest any other places to try please?

Hi Carol I bought a small push along hoover from the English Electric shop in Benijofar, very light, cost 96 euros. Picks up on the tiles as well as carpet squares. Bagless.

Thank you Eve & Alan for replying. Is there anywhere else on the urbanisation or near that would do them? We bought a tv last year down by Lidl - on the 2nd floor right at the end can't remember the name of the shop) - do you think this shop may sell hoovers?

I was in that shop the other day buying inks for my printer and I did not see any hoovers there Carol. I think they only deal in Computers and Televisions etc.

Thank's Eve I think we are going to go to Elche Carrefour over the weekend some time to see what kind of hoovers they have. As Alan has said, the Torrevieja Carrefour have quite a good selection so I presume Elche will have the same.

Hi Carol,
I bought a very good vacuum cleaner from the auction at Formentera. It was new but had a UK plug. I only paid €25 plus commissions. They have them every week. It must be worth a try. The also have a web page. "Lumsdens Auctions "

How strange, I was going to tell you about the auction Carol, as we went to Brico Color today to buy our paint and called into the auction and they have a few light weight up-right hoovers there.

The auction is tomorrow commencing at 10.30am
